REMEMBRANCE DAY

A Year 10 pupil talks about Remembrance Day A Year 10 pupil talks about Remembrance Day

Year 10 students led a special assembly this morning all about Remembrance Day.

They delivered a thoughtful presentation covering the origins of the memorial day, also known as Poppy Day or Armistice Day, before talking about how fallen soldiers are remembered around the world.

The students followed the talk by hosting a quiz about the event, which takes place on 11th November every year.

ASPIRE will also be holding a two minute silence on Monday to remember members of the armed forces who died in the line of duty.
